somatic breathwork

Somatic Breathwork™ is an embodiment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. It lets you release unneeded energy within this network caused by repeating thoughts, feelings, and old narratives by discharging it out through your body.

Your nervous system is the electrical network of your being. Over time, unresolved trauma or chronic stress causes dis-regulation of this network. When dis-regulated, difficulties in your personal or professional life arise. When you heal trauma and stress, you heal the electrical network of your nervous system. When you heal the nervous system, you heal the emotional self so your authentic self can emerge.

With Somatic Breathwork, we use our breath to delve deep into our bodies and nervous system, clearing out unconscious barriers and unresolved emotions.

breathe. heal. transform.

Let me guess... you've been working on your physical health, your mindset, listening to podcasts, reading all the self help books, going to therapy and still feel like there is a missing piece to your healing journey?

Perhaps you're anxious, overwhelmed, experiencing emotional pain and chronic physical symptoms that you can't stop googling causing more emotional distress... and just flat out feeling scared and defeated.

Oh and you're probably sick and tired of talking about all of your trauma and problems...

YOU'RE NOT ALONE!

This is typically the stage that most people find themselves in a breathwork session... desperate for relief, for healing, for a sense of freedom.

Somatic Breathwork is a somatic (physiological) practice that utilizes conscious breathing techniques to facilitate healing and personal growth by releasing suppressed and repressed emotions and shifting the body out of fight or flight.

It combines elements of breath awareness and intentional breath patterns to access and release emotional, physical, and energetic blockages in the body.

Somatic Breathwork aims to promote physical and emotional healing, self-awareness, stress reduction, and overall well-being by releasing contraction from your nervous system.

________

I always say- most people don’t find themselves in a breathwork session because everything is going great- most people find themselves here because they are desperate for relief and desperate to feel better.

My journey to somatic breathwork is no different. 6 years ago I was recovering from a head injury that turned my life upside down. I went from being a vibrant, social, outgoing person to a shell of a person. I started experiencing debilitating anxiety and panic attacks to that point that I would have to pull over while driving and leave restaurants mid meal to cope.

I was going to doctor’s appointments three times a week, trying every healing modality under the sun: reiki, plant medicine, mediation, Joe Dispenza’s work, etc and all were supportive to an extent but nothing made the impact that somatic breathwork did.

Although breathwork didn’t heal the injury, it healed most of what came as a result of it. Little by little my anxiety and panic went away, I was driving, eating out, going to the gym… in short, I started to LIVE again!

I'm now on a mission to share this incredible practice with others! I have guided hundreds of people through transformational Somatic Breathwork sessions that go beyond the mental chatter, promoting self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and reducing the daily stress and anxiety that can weigh us down.

transformations

"Within minutes of starting the breath work, I felt tears running down my cheeks and warm sensations leaving my extremities. We were told this is likely to happen, but I was on the fence about how powerful this could truly be. It was as if I could physically feel my emotions and experiences surface in my body.

As hard and scary as it was at times, I knew I was safe. Casey had prepared us with the tools to navigate through this prior to getting started so I felt more comfortable being uncomfortable and she was coaching us through it the entire time!

Community was a large aspect we all connected on. The importance of finding your people, putting yourself out there, breaking out of the shell that is no longer serving you - these conversations paired with our breath work made me feel empowered, at peace, confident, and less alone.

I am so grateful for this experience. 🫶🏻
